Safety and Hygiene Concept
Please be aware that changes may occur with regard to the development of the pandemic. According to our current safety and hygiene concept, the following rules apply:
Vaccinated and recovered persons only
Participation on site is only possible for fully vaccinated and recovered persons. In addition to the respective proof of vaccination or recovery, proof of a negative antigen test for COVID-19 performed on the same day by a certified testing center must be provided.
All guests have to show their proof of complete vaccination or recovery and additional proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen test in an electronic form at the check-in. Self-tests are not accepted.
In addition, we strongly recommend all participants to download the corona warn app before attending the event.
Distance regulations and mask requirements:
A distance regulation of 1.5 m applies. Apart from that, it applies the general obligation to wear masks indoors, especially if the minimum distance of 1.5 m cannot be maintained. Exceptions to the mask requirement are only permitted during mealtimes in designated food service areas and additionally in outdoor areas. Based on the numbers of corona infections at the time of the event, we reserve the right to repeal the mask requirement.
Disinfection measures
The location is equipped with mobile disinfection dispensers. Touchpoints such as door handles, doors, surfaces, WC/wash basins are regularly disinfected several times a day by a cleaning team.
Collection of Personal Data as part of our Hygiene Concept
The current North Rhine-Westphalian Ordinance on Measures Required to Protect the Population from Infections with SARS-Cov-2 “CoronaSchVO” from 11 January 2022 and valid since 19 March 2022 (legal text can be found here, German only) does not require any registration of contact details for events anymore. However, these rules may change at all times and we want to ensure your safety when attending the Morals&Machines.
It is unlikely, but depending on the situation in May, we might be required to use the personal data of all guests (surname, name, address and a secure way to contact you, e.g. phone number, e-mail address) for health safety reasons. This means this information will be used in case of a positive COVID-19 case amongst all guests reported to us within four weeks following the event. We would only disclose personal data to the responsible authorities if and to the extent that we are legally obliged to do so. In this respect, the processing is based on Art. 6, para. 1, lit. c DSGVO. Please find notes about it in our privacy policy here.
